Position: Wash Crew/Bus Detailer

Salary: $18-$20 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision for our Wash Crew/Bus Detailer position. The role entails cleaning vehicles of various sizes ranging from sedans, 8-14 passenger shuttle minibuses, 22-56 passenger buses, both interior and exterior, and demands flexibility in shifts according to operational needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize pressure washer and brush machine for exterior washing of vehicles.
  • Perform interior cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, restroom sanitation, window cleaning, windshield maintenance, and detailing.
  • Ensure thorough interior cleaning, disinfection, and sanitization of all vehicles.

This role involves physically demanding tasks, including lifting objects up to 50 pounds repeatedly, performing various arm and body movements, squatting, lifting, sweeping, wiping, and prolonged periods of standing in wet, hot/cold conditions. Additionally, you will work with various cleaning chemicals and soaps in a wash bay environment.

Other requirements include maintaining a clean work area, operating equipment safely and correctly after training, and occasional assistance in the Maintenance Shop for various maintenance and groundskeeping duties.

Requirements:

  • Dependability and reliability are essential.
  • Flexibility with work schedule, including days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Experience with power wash machines and detailing commercial vehicles is necessary.

  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Department for equipment needs.
  • Answer phones and respond to communications promptly and professionally.
  • Contribute to process improvement recommendations.

Compensation Program Overview:

Ramblin Express is hiring professional, customer-focused drivers for a Peak Seasonal weekend opportunity including Holidays operating between Golden and Red Rocks. This is an excellent opportunity for school bus drivers, shuttle drivers, motorcoach operators, retirees, or anyone seeking consistent weekend income during Colorado’s busiest tourism season.

Drivers will operate a 14-passenger mini bus providing a convenient hop-on, hop-off transportation service for visitors exploring hiking trails, sightseeing destinations, local shops, and dining experiences. Flexible Schedules:

  • Charter drivers work a less defined schedule with both intrastate and interstate trips.
  • Shuttle drivers enjoy a more predictable weekly schedule with short-haul trips that don’t exceed 150 air miles and generally stay within 10-hour driving limits.

Hourly Pay + Minimums:

Shuttle Drivers:

  • Also expected to drive charter trips as needed, with shifts following the DOT regulations when exceeding the 150-mile radius.

Experience:

  • 2 years of driving experience, holding a CDL-B or CDL-A with passenger endorsement.
  • Clean driving record and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Physical Requirements:
