Begin an Exciting Adventure as a CDL Motorcoach Operator with Ramblin Express

Are you a skilled driver looking for flexibility, variety, and competitive pay? Ramblin Express is hiring dedicated Charter and Shuttle Drivers to join our award-winning team. Whether you’re navigating scenic routes or providing reliable shuttle services, your journey with us promises growth, stability, and a great work-life balance.

Competitive Pay:

  • Casino Shuttle Drivers: $25.00 – $29.50/hour based on verifiable experience.
  • Charter Drivers: $27.00 – $31.50/hour based on verifiable experience.

Flexible Schedules:

  • Charter drivers work a less defined schedule with both intrastate and interstate trips.
  • Shuttle drivers enjoy a more predictable weekly schedule with short-haul trips that don’t exceed 150 air miles and generally stay within 10-hour driving limits.

Hourly Pay + Minimums:

  • All driving workdays are paid with a 4-hour minimum if there’s any cancellation.
  • We ensure you’re compensated for pre-trip and post-trip activities, with 30 minutes scheduled each for pre-trip and post-trip tasks.

Holiday Pay and Benefits:

  • Holiday pay, paid training, and other great benefits to support your career.

Charter Drivers:

  • Operate motorcoaches on exciting trips within the 150 air-mile radius and beyond, including both intrastate and interstate travel.
  • Comply with DOT Hours of Service regulations and keep accurate logs (ELD or paper).
  • Perform additional duties as needed, including secondary casino shuttle driving.

Shuttle Drivers:

  • Operate casino shuttle trips, primarily short-haul within the 150 air-mile radius.
  • Follow short-haul exception hours of service and accurately track on-duty/off-duty hours via ELD devices.
  • Also expected to drive charter trips as needed, with shifts following the DOT regulations when exceeding the 150-mile radius.

Experience:

  • 2 years of driving experience, holding a CDL-B or CDL-A with passenger endorsement.
  • Clean driving record and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. and perform physical tasks on the job.
  • Must be at least 23 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.

Additional Information:

  • US work authorization required.
  • CDL holder
  • Passenger endorsement is a must.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and have a clean MVR and criminal background.
  • Must be 23 years of age or older
  • Able to lift 50-75 lbs.

Experience Level (Required):

  • Must have at least 2 years of CDL driving experience (required)

Single Day Trips:

  • Charter or shuttle trips that extend past midnight but do not involve an overnight stay, with at least 8 hours off-duty, are still considered a single trip.

Pay Structure:

  • Hourly pay begins as soon as you’re on-site at the facility, continuing until your post-trip duties are complete.
  • Minimum Pay Guarantee:
  • If you’re already on duty and a last-minute cancellation occurs, you’re guaranteed 4 hours of pay (unless reassigned).
