Wages: $22 – $24 /hour

We also have a “10% above 40” incentive whereas all drivers will receive a 10% bump to their hourly base rate for all hours worked above 40 in a week.

FULL-TIME CDL DRIVER EARNINGS POTENTIAL DENVER

*Estimates are based on a 10.5-hour average shift, and six-day work week.

  • $22.00/h + “10% above 40” incentive = $22.79/hour = $74.758.60/annually
  • $23.00/h + “10% above 40” incentive = $23.82/hour = $77,535.00/annually
  • $24.00/h + “10% above 40” incentive = $24.85/hour = $80,880.00/annually

*Earning Potential above includes “10% above 40” incentive but does not include Cell Phone / Uniform Allowance | IRA company match | Potential tips or gratuities | Holiday pay (paid at 8 hours per day – but if you work on the holiday, you get hours worked plus 8 hours holiday) and adjusts your PPTO/PPD (paid out at base hourly rate) – so your potential earnings could be higher!

 

INITIAL HOURLY WAGE SCALE FOR CDL (P) DENVER

  • Less than 3 Years of Experience = $22.00 per Hour
  • 3 to 6 Years of Experience = $23.00 per Hour
  • 6 or more Years of Experience = $24.00 per Hour

We are hiring for both Charter and Casino Shuttle Drivers.

CHARTER DRIVERS

  • Typically Work a Less Definitive Schedule.
  • Local Transfers, Day / Evening Trips, Local Continuous Loop Shuttles, Overnight Trips
  • Regional and National Over the Road (OTR) Trips, as well as Inbound Multi-Day Trips
  • Drivers Paid on an Hourly basis for Single Day and on a Flat Rate basis for Multi Day Trips*
  • Potential for Gratuities (Tips)

CASINO SHUTTLE DRIVERS

  • Typically Work a More Definitive Schedule.
  • Morning, Day, Mid, and Night Runs; Most Involving 2 to 3 Roundtrips
  • Approximately 8-14 Hours On-Duty, with 6-9 Hours Driving
  • Drivers are Paid Hourly
  • Most Shuttle Drivers fall under the short haul exception (150 air mile radius)
  • Potential for Gratuities (Tips)

PERSONAL PAID TIME OFF (PPTO / PPD)

  • Earned and accrued from “day one”; 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per (calendar) year; not to exceed 48 hours if carried over.
  • Earnings balance paid out upon termination

Personal Paid Days (PPD) (*in addition to PPTO above)

  • 2 days (16 hours) after 1 year of FT employment
  • 5 days (40 hours) after 2 years of FT employment
  • 7 days (56 hours) after 3 years of FT employment
  • 10 days (80 hours) after 5 years of FT employment

*PPD is use or lose and not eligible for payout upon termination.

PAID DOT PHYSICALS (For CDL only)

  • We pay for your DOT Physicals

Annual Performance Review:

  • Commencing after one year of continuous employment (and thereafter) all drivers will have an annual performance review. Whereas it is anticipated, though not guaranteed, that drivers will receive an annual cost of living wage increase*

Earnings Estimates

At Ramblin Express we employ qualified Professional Drivers, both for Charters and Shuttles (Trips). All Ramblin Express Drivers are expected to drive Trips (both Intrastate & Interstate) as scheduled and as subject to HOS limitations, as well as perform non-driving work as assigned, including training. Limited opportunities may be available for both Full-Time Drivers, who are expected to average at least 30 hours per week, and Part-Time Drivers. The Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) exempts from its overtime requirements certain employees who work for motor carriers and motor private carriers.
